Fasanerie beer garden is located in the midst of Hartmannshofer Park near the Botanical Gardens of Munich. The Fasanerie was once part of the Nymphenburg estate. The royal heritage is still present in the atmosphere of the historical building adjoining the beer garden. For centuries, the Fasanerie provided the wildlife catch for royals and other dignitaries.

The beer garden has room for about 1,500 guests including a serviced area with about 200 seats. The self-service area is completely shaded by chestnut trees. While guests in the self-serviced area sit on traditional beer garden benches in the shadow of huge chestnut trees, guests of the waitress serviced area have to be satisfied with sun umbrellas and plastic chairs.

Saturdays and Sundays, Steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick) on charcoal grill is offered to guests in the beer garden. The Maß Hofbräu Hell (lager) costs €6.90 (May 2016).

While the served area has the same opening hours as the restaurant, the self-service area of the beer garden is open Mondays to Thursdays from 4pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm and Sundays and public holidays from 11am with the final beer order on all days 10.30pm.
