The beer garden has existed since about 25 years. Since 2010 new leasholders leaseholders took over and continue serving many regulars, including bikers and nature loversexploring the forest. A 3.2km nature trail starts behind the beer garden with information signs about the flora and fauna along the route. Behind the building there is Additionally, a game reserve with deer.
