Various museum sections are divided between floor levels in this narrow inner-city building, which is one of the oldest and fully restored buildings in the area. On the top floor, a A small cinema runs an ongoing documentary about on how the Bavarian beer making tradition production has evolved from the beginning early days of innumerable small farm and monastery based brewery operations to the present day worldwide export industry that is dominated primarely mainly by six major Munich breweries of Munich. On the ground floor there is a restaurant, bar and a small beer cellar.
