The Bootshaus is quite unknown in Munich. The beer garden is not mentioned in any guides and gives a very inconspicuous impression from the street. No big signs or brewery advertisement lead new guests to this idyllic family beer garden. The district chairman Oliver Schimmel states, that the beer garden lives through mouth propaganda. The small kitchen is not capable to cater guests fast at high rush and therefore wants to keep the business low. Already now on sunny days the beer garden is packed with families, which very often even unfold their picnic blankets on the large meadow due to lack of seats. The beer garden is entirely enclosed and has only one entrance/exit. Parents can let their kids run around and explore the large property.

Bootshaus offers beside quick snacks such as Currywurst and french fries also traditional beer garden meals such as Obadza and Wurstsalat (sausage salad). Coffee and homemade cakes are also available. The food prices are family friendly and even a Helles (lager) from [[Hacker Pschorr]] costs only 5,80 p/[[Maß]].
