Schusterhäusl is located lies along a quiet road, about four kilometres west of the city centre of Germering. Next to the beer garden, in the main building there is a youth hostel and Irish bar (''Cobblers'') in the main building as well as a stand with grilled fish.

Up to 1,100 guests can find place on traditional beer garden benches. The majority of the benches Most seatings are in the shade of shaded by large linden trees.
