The original restaurant and beer garden opened in 1889 and was then known as Tannengarten (pine garden) as there was once a pine forest behindthe property. Following an ownership change in 2002, the beer garden and restaurant was renamed to Spektakel, which reflects the "GewitterGewittershow" show, a 10-minute light and thunder show held in the restaurant every evening at 730pm 7:30pm and 930pm9:30pm.

The small cosy beer garden with 600 seats lies hidden in a backyard and is shaded by chestnut and other trees. A Maß [[Hacker -Pschorr ]] Helles costs 6,€6.10p/[[Maß]] (April 2013). The foodstall food stall offers a variety of warm and cold and warm traditional Bavarian meals and snacks and meals.
