In 1995 the beer garden fought succesfully against the closing time at 9pm. The so-called beer garden revolution allows Waldwirtschaft to play music until 11pm. Due to the music the beer is a bit more expensive than elsewhere and already by lunchtime on Sundays the beer garden is usually packed. A Maß Spaten Hell costs on a plateau in 7 Euros. The weißbier is Franziskaner. For those who bring their own food, the beer garden offers a BBQ station where steaks and sausages can be prepared by the guests themselves.
