The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday between 1pm and 6pm. There is a restaurant and bar which is open Mondays to Saturdays between 6pm and midnight. Both the museum and restaurant is closed on public holidays.

The Bier & Oktoberfest Museum in Munich showcases the history of the yearly Munich Oktoberfest event, the Bavarian beer tradition and its related brewing industry. Written display boards in German language detail historical facts along with illustrations, photos and exhibits of various brewery and beer related memorabilia, such as a complete collection of original beer mugs used during the early years of the Oktoberfest event.
