Michaeli-Garten is located by a small lake in Ostpark in Munich-Neuperlach, just around the corner of Michelibad, a public swimming pool. The beer garden has 2,400 seats, some reaching to the lakeside of Ostparksee. The Spaten beer served here is either poured in half litre glass or in a regular one litre Maßkrug.

Regular live musical events are organised at this beer garden ranging from traditional German orchestras to rock & roll. At the Seefest on 1st August, the famous Oktoberfest band Cagey Strings will perform. Major football tournaments are shown live on a big screen. There is a giant table with up to 50 seats which can be booked for birthday parties etc. Additionally there is a rustic style inside restaurant with up to 120 seats and a lakeside terrace with 200 seats with views of the Ostparksee. Fresh Steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick) can be bought at the food stalls. A Löwenbräu Helles costs €7.90 p/Maß (May 2018).
The beer garden is open daily in the summer when the weather is good from 10am until about 11pm.
