As the sign at the entrance clearly indicates, Klostergasthof Andechs includes a “Wirtsgarten”, meaning a restaurant with a garden terrace, not a “real” Bavarian beer garden. The real Bavarian beer garden can be found across the road and is referred to here as Kloster Andechs Biergarten. It simply has the sign “Biergarten” at the entrance.
