Standard beer garden benches offer about 250 self-serviced seats. There are no serviced tables. Instead, the serviced and more formal [[Klostergasthof Andechs|Klostergasthof Andechs Wirtsgarten]] is located across the courtyard. Additionally, [[Kloster Andechs Bräustüberl]], a few short steps up the hill, is the self-serviced beer hall with an outdoor terrace including some great views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can bring the Steckerlfisch from the Kloster Andechs Biergarten to the Kloster Andechs Bräustüberl.

Depending on the number of visitors, the beer garden is open on weekdays when the weather is good from 10am until 6pm and on weekends until 8pm. The seasonal opening period depends on the weather but usually lasts from Easter until end of October or early November.
