Max Emanuel Brauerei was once a brewery established about 125 years ago. It is no longer a brewery and beer sold here is now Löwenbräu and Franziskaner. The small adjoining beer garden is shaded by chestnut trees standing on traditional gravel ground. There are 750 seats out of which 300 to 350 seats comprise the self-service area where guests are welcome to bring and consume their own food according to Bavarian beer garden tradition.

A unique feature of this beer garden is one large table where guests can measure their own tap. If coming in a group that need a whole barrel or less, only the amount drank will be measured and charged (minimum 15 liters). Make sure to book this table in advance.

The Löwenbräu helles (lager) is sold at €6.80 p/maß and the Franziskaner weißbier (Bavarian wheat beer) is sold at €3.70 p/glass.

The beer garden is located in a residential area, so try to avoid singing aloud while leaving late evenings as that would probably land the owner in trouble with the neighbours.

The beer garden is open daily from April to October between 11am to 11pm.
