Seeblick has existed since 1975 and is located at the small Karlsfelder lake 16km from the centre of Munich in the direction of Dachau. The beer garden is a popular stp-by for swimmers and sunbathers at the lake.

The beergarden is more so a lakeside kiosk than a traditional Munich beer garden, partly due to its lack of chestnut trees and typical beer garden gravel ground in exchange of a stone-tile floor. That said, the self service area holds the Bavarian tradition of permitting guests to bring their own food true. The about 200 seats all have views of the lake and are divided approximately equally between the self-serviced area with beer garden benches and a serviced terrace with regular tables and chairs. The beer served from the tap is Paulaner and a Maß Helles (lager) costs €6.20.
The beer garden is open when the weather is good everyday throughout the summer from 10am.
