'''Seeblick has existed since 1975 and is located by the small Karlsfelder Lake 16km from the centre of Munich and about 5km from close to the centre town of Dachau. The beer garden is a popular stop-by for swimmers, sunbathers and picnickers spending a day at the lake.'''

The beer garden is more of a lakeside kiosk than a traditional Munich beer garden, partly due to its lack of chestnut trees and the existence of a stone-tile floor instead of a typical beer garden gravel ground. That said, the self service area maintains the Bavarian tradition of permitting guests to bring their own home cooked food. There are about 200 seats all with views of the lake and which are divided approximately equally between the self-serviced area with traditional beer garden benches and a serviced terrace with regular tables and chairs. The beer served from the tap is [[Paulaner]] and a [[Maß]] Helles (lager) costs €6.20.
