The current leasholder, Ralf Hannemann, refurbished the old original building and expanded the small beer garden in 1998. The beer garden now has 250 seats on old-style fixed -to -the -ground benches. The beer [[Maisacher]] served costs €5,60 p/[[Maß]]. There is no self-service food stall in the beer garden. Instead, guests can either order a beer with a service staff or fetch it from inside the restaurant. Raabe's Wirtshaus can easily be reached from Munich via S-Bahn stopping at Steinebach.

The beer garden is open between when the weather is good seasonally from 1st May until 1st October , Monday to Saturday from 5pm and on Sunday and public holidays from 11am until about midnight of or whenever the last guest have left.
