Various sections of the museum are divided between floors. On the top floor, a small cinema runs an ongoing documentary how the Bavarian beer making tradition has evolved from humble beginning of small farm and home brewery operations to a its present day worldwide export industry dominated by the six major breweries in of Munich. On the ground floor there is a restaurant, bar and a small beer cellar.
